Samsung today announced that over 96 percent of the Galaxy Note 7 units sold to the public across the world have been returned to it. The company notes that it has taken aggressive actions like completely disabling phone calling functionality by rolling out a software update for the phone by working closely with carriers. This week, the editors over at Apple chose the PAC-MAN Friends app as the Free app of the week for the iPhone, iPod and iPad. The free app has tilt control, retina support and 95 levels of play. Pandora’s struggles have been well documented as the company has faced trouble competing with the likes of Apple Music and Spotify, and today the company has officially confirmed that founder Tim Westergren will step down as CEO. This move was first reported earlier this week, but Pandora today made it official. In a statement, Pandora board member Roger Faxon outlined that the company has worked hard over recent weeks to “refocus and reinforce Pandora,” noting that the company feels that it is now in a position to “capture an increasing share” of the streaming music industry (via Bloomberg)....
