An Apple patent application published today reveals an idea for an interesting variation on the magnetically-closed Milanese Loop band that allows it to do much more than simply secure the Apple Watch on your wrist. Apple has been named as a co-defendant in a patent infringement lawsuit against TSMC, which makes the A-series chips in Apple’s iOS devices. The lawsuit seeks to ban the import of unspecified Apple devices from both the USA and Germany. US chipmaker Global Foundries accuses TSMC of infringing on 16 of its patents, with Apple cited in three of them… Although Apple is not directly accused of wrongdoing, the lawsuit requires that Global Foundries name the companies importing the technology alleged to infringe on its patents....

Oscar Isaac has been tapped to produce and star in The Great Machine, a film based on Brian K. Paul McCartney has partnered with Emma Stone to create a new video for his anti-bullying song, Who Cares, from his 2018 album Egypt Station. The new musical short is available now as an Apple Music exclusive. McCartney’s latest album was released in September this year. The hour-long, 16-track release includes the song Who Cares which tackles the subject of bullying.
